I'm a Filipino product designer, content creator, and entrepreneur with a passion for basketball, coaching, and Apple products.

I previously led design at a StartX startup at Stanford University and I'm an  Developer Academy graduate with acquired skills in human interface design and iOS development.

About Me

Throughout my life, I've lived in three different continents. I was born in the Philippines, grew up in Italy, and spent couple years studying and working in the United States. I graduated with an Italian maturity diploma in corporate economics and I majored in computer science at Iowa State University. My design career started when I got a web design internship when I was just 17. Since then, I fell in love with the beauty of designing digital interfaces and unforgettable experiences. What inspired me to further explore my design career is my obsession for Apple products, Steve Jobs, and mobile apps. In my free time, I like to write blogs, shoot guns, and read books. Not necessarily in order! My 5 year design experience ranges from social consumer apps, content creation, marketplace, FinTech and EdTech platforms. For 2 years, I had the chance to work with Silicon Valley startup and for 1 year I and studied and worked on designing and developing apps at Apple.

Overview: Self service financial app to help people save money, bring about a more sustainable financial education, so people can stay out of debt and know how to get out.

Overview: Pane Vivo is a Paris-based F&B company reinventing what it means to eat healthy through bread.

Authoreo—2019/2020

Overview: Authoreo is a content creation platform that delivers informative, audience-centric content to organizations who are looking for effective ways to educate their customers.Authoreo was an internal project in Stanford University as part of the new initiatives proposed by Adriano Farano, a Silicon Valley serial entrepreneur and journalism fellow at Stanford University.

Chipmunk—2019

Overview: A social search mobile app that helps Iowa State students meet spontaneously on­campus based on activities. You can think of it as a crossover of Meetup and Tinder, but with a focus on small group size on meetings between unknown college students.Technologies include geolocation, matching, and peer-to-peer system. The app is first thought of as a way to help international students get social around campus and connect with Americans.

Role: Product Designer and Head of UX

Pactio—2018/2020

Overview: Pactio works in practice is a mix of the crowdfunding strategies deployed by journalism funding experiments, such as the now-defunct Spot.Us and Beacon Reader, and the focus on committed, paying readers shouldering one-person shops like Toast founder Daniel Mallory Ortberg’s Shatner Chatner or the many independents on Patreon.

Achievements

🥇Awarded a $10,000 scholarship by Apple and the Italian government to attend Apple's Developer Academy (school for UI/UX designers and iOS developers) in Italy where I was selected among more than 5000 applicants

🥇 Led the growth of of Hikre School to 1000+ registered students and training, mentoring students to the tune of winning more than $40,000 in awards for their app designs 🥇 Created world-class design work for a journalism startup in Stanford University backed by StartX, Lenfest Institute, and multiple Angel investors. Worked closely with Adriano Farano, CEO of Watchup and multiple award-winning journalists at Washington Post and Stanford. 🥇 Granted nearly $1000 through an I-LEAD leadership scholarship and by winning a pitch competition for a university-inspired mobile app at Iowa State University 🥇 Helped design the brand of Pane Vivo, Paris-based startup which is now being seen by 100,000+ people in Paris and helped increased brand value and revenue by more than 100%
